Three Nights at Lehman College – Bronx, NY
Freestyle returned to Lehman College for a limited three-night engagement. Each show was unique, as the roles of Ana and Junior were performed by a different pair of actors, bringing a completely different interpretation of the characters. Audiences were treated not only to the talents of James Martinez, Felix Solis, and Justina Machado, but also to Freestyle legend Lisa Velez (Lisa Lisa) inhabiting the roles. For fans of the '90s film I Like It Like That, the engagement also featured a special reunion of Luna Lauren Velez and Jon Seda on stage.

Freestyle: A Love Story were invited to showcase at the annual Raizado Festival in Aspen. It was an unforgettable experience for the entire cast and crew.

David Zayas, Liza Colón-Zayas, Judy Torres, K7, DJ Capital B, and an amazing cast of dancers brought the show to life at The Lovinger Theatre at Lehman College.

The Freestyle: A Love Story team was invited to DC to perform and take part in CHCI's Hispanic Heritage Month events. Justina Machado and Freddy Rodríguez played the roles of Ana and Junior.
